CAUTION: When installing at height, ensure to follow all required safe installation
practices. Prior to installation ensure that the power is disconnected at the mains to
prevent shock or injury.
1. Unpack LED Highbay and discard packaging thoughtfully.
2. Select installation location.
3.
Attach mounting hook, chain or mounting kit (not included) to mounting location,
ensure that mount or chain is of adequate weight rating to support highbay.
4. Ensure that Stainless Steel mounting ring is securely screwed into the threaded
socket on the top of the LED Highbay. Tighten using a tool.
5. Mount highbay using a weight rated spring-lock clip as per (1) above. Ensure that
spring-lock clip is fully closed.
6. Connect the highbay input cable to pre-wired socket outlet. Ensure that any loose
or excess mains cable is secured by cable tie and cannot hang down loose across
the body of the highbay fitting.
NOTE: Ensure that highbay is installed in a position with adequate ventilation and
away from dust build-up. If dust is present, a regular maintenance routine should be
implemented to prevent overheating.
1-10V Dimming
The Altitude Highbay (excluding Altitude-UGR) incorporates an optional 1-10V Dim
-
ming feature. This is provided by a separate cable that is clipped to the unit and can
be used to provide dimming and integration to Sensor and Control functionality.
NOTE: All Electrical work must be undertaken by a Licensed Electrician.
The 1-10V Dimming function can be operated by the connection of a 1-10V Signal
onto the spare 1-10V Cable insulated and cable tied to the top of the highbay. To
utilise, simply unclip 1-10V cable and remove insulation.
For further instructions consult the instructions provided with your 1-10V Dimming
system, 1-10V Sensor or Control interface.
