After downloading the L-INX configuration into the L-INX device, the L-IOB input
and output terminals can be tested with the L-INX Web UI. An example is shown in
Figure 12.

2.5 Getting started with logiCAD
Install the following software components which are available from the website:
Hardlock driver for USB keys. For the logiCAD license, an Aladdin USB key may be
used. If no driver for this type of keys is installed on the PC and the software is licensed
via the USB key, install this driver first. This driver is not required if a logiCAD
softlock license is used.
L-logiCAD setup package. This package installs the logiCAD software, which is
needed to design PLC programs for the L-INX device.
L-INX Configurator. This software is required to configure the device to provide the
necessary data points to the PLC and integrate the device into the CEA709 network.
A detailed guide how to install the software components described above can be found in
Section 6.1 and section 12.2.
To Start a logiCAD Project
1.
After installing the necessary software components start logiCAD from the L-INX
Configurator by clicking the
Start LogiCAD
speed button.

The project wizard starts automatically as shown in Figure 13.
