For the import process the following rules are applied:
The name of the global variables object is supplied by the import file. If there is no
global variables object it is created. If there is already a suitable global variables
object, the existing variables are saved.
There is already a suitable global variables object: If there is an old and new
variable with identical name, the type of the variable is checked. In case of a type
mismatch of the old and new variable, the old one is discarded and the new one is
imported. Additional a warning is printed on the Error-state viewer.
The name of the global variables object represents the folder name in the LINX
Configurator.
After importing the global variables the Functionplan Plan_1 and the global variables object
IEC61131 Variables are opened. To use the imported variables simply drag&drop the
required global variable on to the Functionplan, see Figure 227. The external variables
described in the previous section are automatically created when adding the global variable
to the Funtionplan.
