If necessary, cut panels to fit at corners or other areas following the

manufacturer’s instructions.

Some panels can be cut at the plank joints.

Other types of panels may require disassembling the unit with a 5-in-1 tool and rubber

mallet. Remove as many pickets as needed, then reassemble with vinyl cement.

12

Set the panel in the brackets.

Use blocks to help hold the panel in position.

13

Secure the panel with screws. Be sure to use a screw in each hole.

14

Next, mark the exact location of the next post: the width of the panel plus the brackets.

15

At the next hole, add the gravel base and set the post in the hole, making sure it’s at the

correct height.

TIP:

On level ground, you can use a level to make sure posts are at the same height.

16

Secure the post to the panel with screws.

17

Check for plumb, and use braces and clamps to hold in place.

18

Add concrete, following the manufacturer’s instructions.

19

Double check for plumb.

20

Continue setting posts and panels in place. Only do a few at a time so the concrete

has time to set.

The next step is to attach the gate. You’ll learn how in the printable instructions and video
