Improper handling of the Universal Dryer increases the risk of an electric shock.
The Dryer has an IPX4 splashproof rating, enabling it to be used in Zone 2 moist
ambient conditions (equivalent to electrical safety requirements for bathrooms)
because it is designed for drying wet boots, shoes, gloves, helmets etc.
• Connect the Universal Dryer only if the mains voltage of the socket corresponds
to the information on the rating plate.
• Only connect the plug to an easily accessible power outlet so that you can
quickly disconnect the Universal Dryer from the power supply in the event of a
malfunction.
• If a large amount of water pours onto the unit (e.g. from a rubber boot), unplug it
until the water has drained out through the openings in the base of the unit.
• Never handle the Universal Dryer or its accessories with wet hands.
• Never pull on the power cord when unplugging, always grip the plug.
• Lay the cable so that it is not a tripping hazard.
• Do not bend the power cord and do not lay it over sharp edges.
• Never attempt to grab an electronic device if it has fallen into water. In such a
case, pull the plug out of the socket immediately.
• If you are not using the Universal Dryer, cleaning it or if there is a malfunction,
always turn off the dryer and unplug it from the socket.
• Do not operate the Universal Dryer if there is visible damage or if the cable or
socket are defective.
• Do not open the housing and do not make any changes to the Universal Dryer
or its accessories, leave the repairs to a qualified service technician. To do so,
contact a specialist workshop.
In the case of repairs carried out independently, improper connection or incorrect
use, liability and warranty claims are excluded.

• Store the Universal Dryer away from children.
• The Universal Dryer can be used by children over the age of eight and by
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience
and knowledge when supervised or instructed in the safe use of the Universal
Dryer and understand the resulting hazards.
• Cleaning and maintenance may not be carried out by children without
supervision.
• Keep the Universal Dryer and its accessories away from children under eight
years old.
• Keep the packaging away from children as there is a danger of suffocation.
