6.5 Type plate, charger
The charger shall have a plate stating the dc output voltage in Volt and the dc current in Ampere.
Standard 24V
– 15A.
7. Electric functions
7.1 Function test
Lifting/lowering
Forwards/backwards
Emergency stop
Acceleration
Maximum speed
Capability of the brakes
Multiflex-function
7.2 Battery
Check cable eye and poles on the battery for dirt.
Check the level of liquid on the battery (only open batteries).
7.3 Battery box
Check that the battery box and its cover are not damaged.
Empty the battery bag, if it contains battery acid.
7.4 Electric motors
Check that the electric and mechanic conditions are good.
Check the brushes of the wheel motor (only SGL).
Check the brushes of the pump motor. Minimum length: 10mm.
7.5. Electric supply mains
Check that electric parts are clean and free of verdegris.
Check for loose connections.
Check wear and tear on the wires (insulation scrapped off).
7.6 Fuses
Check that specific fuse areas are intact.
Fuse in main current supply for the drive motor.
Fuse in main current supply for the hydraulic motor
Fuse in control circuit.
7.7 Emergency stop and emergency stop button
Check that the emergency stop functions. Pressing the emergency stop shall break the current
supply to the main relay - and thereby the connection through the main relay. The control current
shall also be disconnected.
The safety switch is fitted on the top of the handle: If the handle touches a solid body (e.g. the
operator) during operation, the truck has to stop or change direction (drive forwards).
