Activating the Alarm Function and Selecting the Wake-up Mode

1.  To activate the alarm function, press the ALARM/SNOOZE button repeatedly to select the 

wake-up mode. The corresponding wake-up modes will change in sequence on every press 
as follows:

BUZZER

DAB

FM

OFF

2.  Stop pressing the button when the display shows your desired wake-up mode and the 

alarm is set. The associated alarm on icon will show in the display.

3.  At the selected wake-up time, the desired wake-up mode will be turned on. To stop the 

alarm sooner, press the 

 STANDBY button to switch off the unit.

Automatic Alarm Repeat

The alarm will automatically repeat each day at the selected time as long as the alarm icon is 
displayed. To cancel this function, repeatedly press the ALARM/SNOOZE button until “Alarm 
Off
” shows in the display.

Snooze Function (AC Operation Only)

When the alarm sounds, press the ALARM/SNOOZE button to temporarily switch off the alarm 
for 5 minutes. The display will show “z” to indicate that snooze is on.

Sleep Function (AC Operation Only)

This function allows you to program the unit to switch off by itself after a set period of time.
1.  To activate the sleep function, press the SLEEP button repeatedly. The time will change in 

the sequence on every press as follow:

2.  Stop pressing the button when the display shows your desired length of time. The sleep 

function will be activated in 2 seconds.  “S” will show on the display.

3.  When the sleep time reaches zero, the unit will turn off. To turn the sleep function off while 

the sleep timer is still counting down, press the SLEEP button until “Sleep Off” and “S” 
disappear from the display.

4.  Press the INFO button repeatedly to display the sleep timer status.

If you have activated the alarm function and the wake-up mode is DAB or FM, 
make sure that the volume is at a sufficient level for you to hear.

•  The sleep function can only be activated in AC power operation.
