1. To connect the hose, insert the hose connector into the hose connection
opening until you hear a ‘click’ (Fig 1).
2. To connect the telescopic tubes to the handgrip of the hose, insert the narrow
section into the wider section while turning a little (Fig 2).
3. Extend the telescopic tube to a length you find the most comfortable by
pressing the button located on the telescopic tube (Fig 3).
4. Connect a nozzle/brush suitable to the floor type to be cleaned. The floor brush
can be used with brush strips lowered or raised (Fig 4). You may also connect the
combination nozzle to vacuum corners, slots or grooves. It can also be used as a
brush nozzle by turning the brush out in the direction of the arrow (Fig 5).
1. Press the ON/OFF button on the top of the vacuum cleaner to turn it off and then
remove the mains plug from the mains socket.
2. Press the cord rewind button to rewind the retractable mains cable.
3. Put the vacuum cleaner in an upright position and attach the telescopic tube to the
clip on the vacuum cleaner (Fig 6).
Always unplug the vacuum cleaner from the mains socket before emptying the bin
and cleaning.
1. Remove the hose connector from the vacuum cleaner. Hold the bin handle and then
press the bin release button on the bin handle to take the bin out (Fig 7).
2. To prevent the dust dispersing, lower the bin into your dustbin, and then press the
dust release button to empty the bin (Fig 8).
3. If you find the washable HEPA filter is blocked or dirty, remove the HEPA filter from
the bin by turning the HEPA filter anti-clockwise (Fig 9).
4. Remove the fine filter from the HEPA filter. Shake out the dust accumulated on the
HEPA filter. You may soak the filters in warm soapy water for a few minutes, and then
rinse them under a running tap to remove all traces of soap (Fig 10). Do not relocate
the filters until it they are completely dry.
5. Relocate the HEPA filter back into the bin by turning it clockwise. Do not over-
tighten it.
6. Relocate the bin back into the vacuum cleaner until you hear a ‘click’.
Always unplug the appliance from mains socket before replacing the filter.
1. Unclip the grill and take out the exhaust filter (Fig 11 & Fig 12).
2. Shake out the dust accumulated on the filter into a dustbin.
3. Relocate the filter and the grill.
1. Hold the mains plug and pull the retractable mains cable out of the vacuum cleaner.
Connect the mains plug to the mains socket. The YELLOW mark indicates the ideal
length to extend the cable. Do not extend the mains cable beyond the RED mark
which indicates the maximum length.
2. Press the ON/OFF button on the top of the vacuum cleaner to turn it on.
3. To move the vacuum cleaner from room to room, you can unplug and carry it by either
the handle or the handgrip. Never use the mains cable to pull the vacuum cleaner.
