If the IP address is known, the update page in the browser on the PC can be opened.
In the browser’s address bar,
http://Adresse:12321/upgrade
must be entered (the word
“Adresse“ is to be replaced with the IP address of the Network Media Player). As shown
in the figure,
http://192.168.1.4:12321/upgrade
must be entered in this case. If the address
is correct and the network connection functions properly, the update page shown above is
displayed.
The new software can be selected with a click on the “Browse...“ button. Please select the
*.BIN file from the FTP server and confirm it with a click on the “Open“ button.
After the file is selected, the update can be started with a click on the „Start“ button.
IMPORTANT: The update can only be carried out when the network mode is “wired“.
If the PC or TV is disconnected from the network during the update procedure, the TV
is switched to standby mode with the remote control or the network connection is
interrupted, the flash memory of the Media Network Player is destroyed and can not
be recovered.
