Setting the TV/STB button
The button with the TV/STB function can be used to set a 4-digit number
on the required unit.
Press the TV/STB
button for at least 5 seconds.
The LED above the
TV/STB
button flashes twice.
Enter the code
0003

The LED above the
TV/STB
button flashes twice.
Enter the four-digit code from the brand list on page
97.
Press the
ON/OFF
button until the unit to be operated
responds to the entry of the remote control.
Press the
OK
button.

The LED lights up for 2 seconds when an invalid code is entered.

After 10 seconds without entering a code, the setting process is can-
celled.

Apart from the
TV/STB
button, you can also assign the
DVD
and
AUDIO
button with the STB function (page 20).

If you do not find any code for operating the TV/STB unit during this
search, please perform an Internet update (page 17).
Reading out TV/STB code
You can read out the currently set TV/STB code (in the following example
code "0359").
Press the TV/STB
button for at least 5 seconds.
The LED above the
TV/STB
button flashes twice.
Enter the code
0002

The LED above the
TV/STB
button flashes twice.
Press 1 button to determine the first (left) digit of the
four digit code.
The LED does not flash for the number zero.
Press the 2 button to determine the second digit of the
four-digit code. The LED flashes e.g. 3 times for the
number 3.
Press the 3 button to determine the third digit of the
four-digit code. The LED flashes e.g. 5 times for the
number 5.
Press the 4 button to determine the fourth (right) digit of
the four digit code. The LED flashes e.g. 9 times for the
number 9.
