Operating additional equipment
Switching over the remote control - with
the suggestions by the remote control
Switch on the device to which you want to set
the RC2. Standby is not sufficient!
Press the
MOD
button with the
display on. The Mode menu is
displayed.
Mark >RC Setup< with the
rocker.
Press the
SET
button to call the
RC settings.
Mark the equipment type with
the rocker - VCR, DVD, STB,
DEV1 (device 1), DEV2 (device
2).
Call the Setup menu of the
appropriate device with the
SET
button.
Mark "Step and set" with the
rocker.
Press the
SET
button to show
the input menu for DEV1 and
DEV2.
Enter the type of device here:
1 = DVD (DVD player)
2 = VCR (video recorder)
3 = STB (Set Top Box)
This setting is not necessary in
VCR, DVD and STB.
Press the
SET
button to accept
the input.

You see the Setup menu with
the device type and the
currently set code in the last
line of the menu.
Hold the remote control pointed towards the
device you want to switch over to. Watch the
device. If it switches off to standby when you
press
SET
, you have found the right code.
If nothing happens, press the
SET
button again (a new code
is sent every time you press
SET
) until the device switches
to standby.
When this happens, mark
"accept" with the rocker.
Accept with the
SET
button. The
Setup menu is displayed again.
Mark "back" with the rocker
and press the
SET
button. You
will see the Mode menu with
the equipment selection again.
Mark the device to be operated.

Hide/show HMM menu items in the TV
menu
You get the HMM menu items when the HMM
function is activated on your remote control!
Press the
MOD
button with
the display on. The Mode menu
is displayed. Mark >RC Setup<
with the rocker.
Press the
SET
button to call
the RC settings.
Mark "HMM" with the rocker.
Call the menu with the
SET
button.
Mark "on" with the rocker to
have the HMM menu item
displayed or "off" to hide it.
Confirm the selection with the
SET
button. You will see the
RC Setup menu again.
Exit the menu with the
MOD
button. You will see the Mode
menu again with the
equipment selection.
