Check the connected cables and their contacts.
Check the input of the connected TV set.
Is "L" input to pins (2) (with composite and S-video terminal output
muted) and (13) (with component output muted) of IC2301?
Check the peripheral circuits of IC2301.
Or replace IC2301.
