start-up to avoid false trips because of curr ent inrush. For
convenience, the TIMING BEGINS WHEN THE MO

STARTS. The S tart-up LED stays lit until the start-up period
is over.

The start-up time should be:

Long enough so that the load has s tabilized.

To bypass Start-up Timer set time to zer o seconds.

Dela y Timer (Max Set P oint)
To avoid nuisance trips fr om short overloads, Dela y
Timers bypass the Contr ol for the select ed time. The
relays wonít trip until the time is exceeded. If t he trip
condition goes away before the time is up, the timer
resets to zer o.

ï

Start with minimum Dela y. If y ou are getting trips
where you donít w ant them, increase the Dela y
Time.

Adjusting R ate Set P oint
The Rate Set P oint limits sudden load changes.

1 = Fastest (most sensitive)
40 = Slo west (least sensitive)

Start at about 15. Go slo wer if y ou get nuisance trips. Go
faster for more sensitivity.
