Pairing Procedure
1.
Unpack the 2 adapters from packaging. Just unpack the adapters. No need to unpack
accessories.

2.
Make sure slide switch is toward DCE if straight serial cable is used. If twisted cable is used,
slide switch position is DTE. Connect one adapter to serial port cable and power is via Mini
USB cable
Time Taken = 10 sec
3.
Start the LM149 Configuration Software. Select COM port number, 19200 Baud rate, None
Parity, 1 Stop bits, Flow Control: Disabled
Press
Get Device Info
. The LM149 Software will read the settings and update the window
