USE 

 

 

1.

 

Insert the control probe fully into the socket of the hotplate. 

 

2.

 

Plug the cord into a power outlet and turn the power ON. 

 

3.

 

Adjust the dial to low grade for preheat few minutes. 

 

4.

 

Set the control probe dial to the desired heat setting. When the thermostat light on the control 

probe switches off, the desired cooking temperature has been reached and the appliance is ready to 
use. 
 

5.

 

Put your food on the fry pan  

 

NOTE 1

: The thermostat light on the control probe indicates the appliance is heating. This light will 

remain ON until the set temperature has been reached and then will cycle ON and OFF throughout 
cooking. This will ensure that the Grill always maintains the selected temperature. 
The preheat time will depend on the heat setting selected. If a high heat setting is selected, a longer 
preheat time is required. 
 
 

NOTE 2: The glass cover has a vent through which hot steam can escape!  
Avoid contact with this escaping steam.  
The cover can become extremely hot during operation therefore use oven gloves, etc. where 
possible when removing the cover to avoid burns.

After using, switch OFF the appliance thermostat and unplug it. 

 

CLEANING AND STORAGE 

 
Caution: do not use wire brush or any abrasive items or liquids 

Be very careful when you use cooking oil, if it is too hot it can take fire   

 

1. Always remove the plug from the socket before cleaning  

2. Never immerse the appliance base in water  

3. Ensure that the appliance has completely cooled down before cleaning. 

4. Clean the baking tray, the oil tray and the glass lid with hot soapy water. 

5. Use damp cloth to clean the appliance base.
