Use a soft wet cloth to wipe the base.

Wash the hotplate and drip tray
in warm soapy water

Never use an abrasive cleaner to clean the cooking plate otherwise the non-stick coating would be
easily damaged.

Before inserting control probe in probe socket, ensure the interior of the socket is fully dry.
To do this, wipe interior of socket with a dry cloth or shake out excess water vigorously
