danger.
20. Although the product has been checked, its use and consequences
are the user‘s sole responsibility
Use:
BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Remove any stickers or protective films from the soleplate before first use, and clean the appliance with a soft cloth.
2. When using the appliance for the first time, test it on an old piece of fabric to ensure that the soleplate and water tank
are completely clean.
3. Keep the sole plate smooth: avoid contact with metal objects.
FILLING WITH WATER
1. Make sure that the iron is disconnected from the mains and that the thermostat dial is in the „min“ position. Set the
steam selector to the „no steam“ position.
2. Lift the water tank cap and pour the water in through the hole. Be careful not to overfill to prevent the water from
overflowing. Then replace the water tank cap so that it is tight and secure.
DRY IRONING
1. Set the steam selector to the „no steam“ position.
2. Set the appropriate temperature by turning the thermostat dial, based on the requirements on the laundry label.
STEAM IRONING
1. Fill water into the iron as described in the chapter „Filling with water“.
2. Plug the iron into the power supply.
3. Set the thermostat switch to the MAX position.
4. The heating light comes on. When it switches off, it indicates that the iron is ready for use.
5. Adjust the steam flow: Increase the steam output by pushing the steam selector forward and decrease the steam
output by pushing it backwards.
Shock steam: This function is good for hard creases and heavy fabrics. Pressing the steam burst button emits an intense
burst of steam from the soleplate, which can be very useful when removing stubborn creases. The steam system can only be
used when ironing with a high ironing temperature. For best results, there should be a 5 second pause between each press
of the steam button. To prevent water from coming out of the soleplate, do not keep the steam button pressed for more than
5 seconds.
Also, allow at least one minute between successive bursts of steam.
NOTE: Steaming cannot be used on synthetic fabric, nylon, synthetic silk, silk or similar delicate materials. Please always
check the washing label before using steam.
NOTE: Steam and the steam burst will not work properly (or water leakage may occur) if the thermostat control is not set
within the steam range.
