Install the Headrest

Installing the headrest is completely optional.
•  To install the headrest, insert the two (2) rods of the headrest into the opening at top of the backrest plate.

If there is an emergency situation, operation of the bath lift can be brought to a standstill by pressing the 
EMERGENCY/OFF button. In order to reactivate the bath lift, press the ON button. 
The bath lift will switch off automatically after 30 minutes. To turn it off manually, simply press the 
EMERGENCY/OFF button. The light on the indicator lamp will go out to show the device is turned off.

Operating the Bath Lift

1) Make sure that the hand control is connected properly.
2) Press the ON button on the hand control to turn on device.
3) Press and hold the UP button. The lift will move up and the backrest will move from a reclined position to 
    an upright position. The lift will raise up until the button is released. The lift will switch off automatically once 
    it reaches its end position.
    

NOTE: The lift can be raised and stay at any height by releasing the button once the lift reaches the 

    desired height.

4) Fold out the side flaps of the seat and let them rest on the sides of the tub. The flaps should be horizontal 
     to the seat and upper edges of the tub once they are resting on the sides of the tub.
5) Sit down in the center of the bath lift. Ask for help, if assistance is required.
6) Press and hold the DOWN button to lower the lift. The lift will lower until the button is released. The 
     backrest will tilt back automatically. The lift will switch off automatically once it reaches its end position. The 
     backrest can be tilt back automatically. The lift will switch off automatically once it reaches its end position. 
     The backrest can be reclined to any angle by releasing the button once the desired angle is reached.
     

WARNING! If the backrest pushes against the backside of the tub, release the DOWN button 

      immediately. The position of the bath lift may have to be adjusted.

7) After bathing, press and hold the UP button until the lift reaches a height equal to the top edges of the tub.
8) Use side flaps to slide sideways off of the seat and carefully out of the bathtub.
    

NOTE: If you leave the bath lift in the tub between uses, make sure to always disconnect hand control 

    when the bath lift is not in use. If bath lift is being stored, check the “Removing the Bath Lift” section on 
    how to properly remove the bath lift from tub.

Turns the lift on.

2) EMERGENCY/OFF button

Brings the lift to a standstill.

3) UP button

Moves the lift up.

4) DOWN button

Moves the lift down.

5) LED indicator lamp

Indicates how much charge is left in the battery:
Green – Ready for operation
Orange – Enough charge for one use
Yellow – Close to changing to red
Red – Lift will only be able to go up; needs to be charged.
