e. Connecting arm module and alarm unit
The arm module and the alarm unit are connected with each other
on delivery. In case you receive a new arm module or alarm unit due
to a defect, you may as follows again connect both devices.
New arm module or alarm unit
1. Make sure that the arm module and the alarm unit are in the
same room and that they are not connected to a power supply.
2. Turn the arm module on using the slide knob and check whether
the LED on the arm module is orange. NOTE: the LED on the
arm module does not shine very bright.
2.1. If the LED on the arm unit is not orange: switch the arm
unit OFF and ON again, then throw the arm module three
times + 1 meter in the air and catch it. The LED on the arm
module should turn orange now. If this does not happen,
please try this step again. If the LED turns orange, perform
step 2.2.
2.2. If the LED on the arm unit is orange: connect the power
supply of the alarm unit and wait for it to start up (30
seconds). After startup, hold both buttons of the alarm unit
simultaneously for 10 seconds. A couple of seconds after
you release the buttons, the alarm unit and the new arm
module will be connected.
3. Put the arm module on, make sure that it makes good contact
with your skin and lay down. Check whether the LED on the
module and/or alarm unit stays continually green to make sure
the system is active. After this, put the arm module on the
charger to stop the system.
