• The light source for this lighting fixture is not re-
placeable; when the light source has reached
the end of its service life, the entire lighting
fixture is to be replaced.
Warnings on batteries!
• Remove the batteries if they are empty or if
the product is not going to be used for an
extended period.
• Do not use different battery types or brands,
new and used batteries in combination, or
batteries with different capacities, as they leak
and can thus cause damage.
• Observe the polarity (+/-) when inserting
batteries.
• Change all batteries at the same time and
dispose of the old batteries properly.
• Warning! Batteries may not be charged or
reactivated in any way. They may not be dis-
mantled, thrown into fire, or short-circuited.
• Always keep batteries out of the reach of
children.
• Do not use rechargeable batteries!
• The cleaning and user-maintenance may not
be carried out by children without supervision.
• Clean the batteries and the device contacts as
necessary and before inserting the batteries.
• Do not expose the batteries to extreme con-
ditions (e.g. radiators). Otherwise there is an
increased risk of leakage.
• Batteries can endanger life if swallowed. Keep
batteries out of the reach of small children for
this reason. Seek medical help immediately if
a battery is swallowed

• Handle a damaged or leaking battery with
extreme care and dispose of it properly and
immediately. Wear gloves to handle the
battery.
• If you come into contact with battery acid then
wash the affected area with soap and water.
If battery acid gets in your eye rinse it out with
water and seek medical help immediately!
• Do not short-circuit the terminals.
Inserting batteries (fig. A)
WARNING! Comply with the following
instructions in order to prevent mechani-
cal and electrical damage.
Three batteries are included with the product;
these must be removed from the packaging
before insertion.
1. Remove the battery compartment lid (1a) from
the battery compartment (1b).
2. Insert the batteries (2) into the battery holder.
Note:
Pay attention to the plus/minus polarity
of the batteries and their correct installation.
The batteries must be located entirely inside the
battery compartment.
3. Close back the battery compartment lid (1a).
Note:
Make sure that the O-ring seals the
casing tightly. Otherwise water or humidity can
get into the battery compartment.
Replacing batteries
If the batteries (2) no longer work you can
replace them.
Proceed as described in the section “Inserting
batteries”. Remove the old batteries from the bat-
tery compartment before inserting the new ones.
Switching the light on and off
(fig. B)
Press the button (1c) once to activate the prod-
uct‘s timer function.
Note:
The timer function keeps the light
switched on for 6 hours and switched off for 18
hours.
Press the button (1c) twice to switch the product
on continuously.
Press the button (1c) three times to switch the
product off.
Note:
After activating each mode you only
need to press the button once in order to switch
to the next mode.
Use
The product can be set up indoors or in outdoor
areas protected against wind and humidity.
Note:
Do not store the product on sensitive
surfaces. This may cause scratching.
