Before use, ensure that the mains voltage
available is the same as the required operating
voltage for the device (230 V ∼ 50 Hz).
Before connecting the device to the mains you
should always check the device and the mains
lead for any damage. A damaged device
represents the danger of death from electric shock.
The supply cord of the lamp cannot be replaced.
If the cord is damaged the appliance should
be scrapped.
Do not use the device if you find any damage.
It is essential that the device does not come
into contact with water or other liquids.
Protect the mains lead against sharp edges,
mechanical stresses and hot surfaces.
If the lamp is not to be used for an extended
period (e.g. during your holidays), pull the mains
plug out of the mains socket.

Replacing a bulb
Use a cloth for lamp replacement.
Switch off the lamp using the on / off in-line
foot switch

Pull the mains plug

out of the mains socket
and allow the lamp to cool down.
Screw the old bulb

out of the socket.
Screw a bulb of the same type into the fitting
of the lamp. Ensure that the bulb is securely
and firmly seated.
Maintenance and Cleaning
CAUTION! DANGER OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK!
Pull the mains plug out of the mains
socket and allow the lamp to cool down. For
electrical safety reasons do not clean the lamp
with water or other liquids and never immerse
it in water. Always use a dry fluff-free cloth for
cleaning the device.
Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of
recyclable materials, which you may
dispose of at local recycling facilities.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more
details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.
Under no circumstances should the
device / article and its bulbs be disposed
of with normal household rubbish.
