rendered invalid in respect of damage caused by
the non-observance of these operating instructions!

RISK OF LOSS

FANTS AND CHILDREN!
Never leave children unsupervised with the
packaging materials. Packaging materials pres-
ent a suffocation hazard. Children often under-
estimate danger. Always keep the product out
of reach of children.
We assume no liability for material damage or
personal injury due to improper handling or
failure to comply with the safety instructions!
To avoid danger to life from
electric shock
Before connecting the lamp to the mains, always
check it and the mains lead / plug for any dam-
age. Never use your lamp if you discover that
it is damaged in any way.
CAUTION!
A damaged mains lead presents a serious dan-
ger to life from electric shock. If the external
flexible cable or cord of this luminaire is dam-
aged, it shall be exclusively replaced by the
manufacturer or his service agent or a similar
qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
Never let the lamp come into contact with
water or other liquids.
Do not install the lamp on damp if conductive
surfaces.
Never open any electrical devices such as
switches, fittings etc. or allow any object to be
inserted into them. This sort of interference can
lead to a serious danger to life from electric
shock.
Touch only the insulated part of the plug when
connecting to or disconnecting from the mains
supply.
Before installation ensure that the available
mains voltag e agrees with the operating volt-
age required for the lamp (see “Technical Data”).
Prevent fire and
injury hazardsa
CAUTION!
RISK OF BURNS DUE TO
HOT SURFACES!
Ensure the lamp has been switched off and
allowed to cool before you touch it. In this way
you will avoid the danger of burns. Light bulbs
develop a great deal of heat.
