Initial Use
Assembling the light
Caution:
The lamp glass

and the ring nut

are pre-assembled, but are not screwed
tight.
Bring the lamp glass

into the correct position.
Screw the lamp glass

to the ring nut

. Be
sure they are positioned correctly.
Use a clean, lint-free, dry cloth to insert the
bulb

Screw the illuminant

clockwise into the
lamp socket

(see Fig. B).
Plug the mains plug

into a properly in-
stalled socket.
Your light is now ready to use.
Switching the light on / off
Press the ON / OFF in-line switch

to switch
the light on and off.
Dimming the bulb
The light is only dimmable using the bulb

supplied. To dim the bulb

in the light, switch
the light on and off multiple times in short suc-
cession using the ON / OFF in-line switch

Replacing the bulb

First unplug the mains plug

from the socket.
CAUTION! RISK OF BURNS DUE TO
HOT SURFACES!
Allow the lamp to cool down
completely.
Use a clean, lint-free, dry cloth when replacing
the illuminant

Unscrew the defective illuminant

from the
lamp socket

, turning counter-clockwise.
Screw a new illuminant, clockwise into the
lamp socket

.
Plug the mains plug

into a properly in-
stalled socket.
Your light is now ready to use.
Maintenance and Cleaning

First remove the mains plug

from the socket.

HOT SURFACES!
Allow the lamp to cool down
completely.
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
For electrical safety, never clean the light with
water or other liquids, or immerse it in water.
Do not use solvents, benzene or similar sub-
stances. They could damage the light.
Only use a dry, lint-free cloth for cleaning.

Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recy-
clable materials, which you may dispose
of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging
materials for waste separation, which
are marked with abbreviations (a) and
numbers (b) with following meaning:
1–7: plastics / 20–22: paper and fibre-
board / 80–98: composite materials.
The product and packaging materials
are recyclable, dispose of it separately
for better waste treatment. The Triman
logo is valid in France only.
Contact your local refuse disposal author-
ity for more details of how to dispose of
your worn-out product.
