BEFORE YOU BEGIN
1.
CHARGE THE BATTERY OVERNIGHT.
An initial charge will help condition your battery cells and allow for optimum
performance throughout its life.
Please note that the charger indicator light may turn green, indicating a
complete charge, before the conclusion of the night.
Allow the charge to continue for at least 8 hours.
Subsequent charges will be
complete after 3-4 hours, or when the light turns green.
2.
PLUG IT IN PROPERLY.
Turn off the battery, “0”, and connect the battery to the charger
then
connect
to the AC wall outlet. This will reduce or eliminate chance of sparking due to
capacitor discharge.
The battery must then be turned on, “1”, in order for the battery to charge. When the
charge is complete,
first turn off battery
, then unplug the charger from the battery.
The battery is ready for use.
3.
LOCK IN BATTERY WHILE RIDING.
Battery may slip out over rough terrain unless securely locked into place with
provided keys.
4.
CHARGING LONG TERM
If the SUPER73 or battery is left unused for prolonged storage, recharge the battery
at least every (3 months) 90-days during storage for optimum battery performance.
Leave battery at no more than half capacity before storage.
