During charging:
- It is normal for the
battery to get warm during
the charging process. Do
not charge the battery on a
surface that is flammable
or can be damaged by
heat.
- Do not leave the battery
and charger unattended
while charging.
- After charging, unplug
charger from model.
- Do not store the model
plugged into the charger.
Your LiteHawk BURST AUTO comes with a LiPo battery which is inside the model. The
rechargeable Li-Po battery provides the power to propel your model at high speeds. You
should expect 5-8 min run time. However you do need to make sure to properly maintain
your Li-Po Battery.
- Li-Po batteries don’t like to be run down too low. If the voltage is dropped dramatically
they will be damaged and will not recharge! Once the model starts to slow (the lights will
also begin to blink on BURST AUTO), fly your model to a safe place, walk over and turn it
off.
- It is recommend to charge the battery after your run and to always store the battery with
a charge. Never discharge or dead short a Li-Po battery!
Always have your model turned off and the battery unplugged when not in use.
You will notice that there are 2 plugs with wires coming out of the battery. The
larger white plug is the balance plug. This is the plug you use with the supplied
balance charger. This is a keyed plug and will only go in one way.
You MUST unplug the battery from BURST AUTO when charging!
1/ Plug the USB into your computer, TV, or USB charger. The LED light on the USB will turn
RED.
2/ Open the hatch on the bottom of the BURST AUTO by pushing on the grip tab. Gently
remove the battery from the compartment. Unplug the battery from connector in the BURST
AUTO. Make sure the BURST AUTO power switch is turned OFF.
3/ Plug the BURST AUTO battery into the power supply cable. Do not force the plug, it only
goes in one way. The LED light on the USB will turn OFF.
4/ Charge time can take up to 60 minute (less if charging for the first time). Once charged
the LED light on the USB will turn back on to RED.

Tip: If storing for more than 24 hours it is best to store with a fully charged battery.
How To Sync
1/
Make sure the model is turned Off and locate a flat level surface.
2/
Plug the battery into the BLAST AUTO and turn it on. Place the BLAST AUTO on the
flat surface, you must do this within 5 seconds of turning the power switch ON. You will
see flashing lights on the BLAST AUTO start to blink.
3/
Turn on the power for the controller. You will see a flashing red LED light and audible
beep indicating the power is on.
4/
Move the left control stick (this is also the throttle stick) all the way up, then all the
way down. In a few seconds the blinking LED on the BLAST AUTO and the blinking LED
on the controller will both be solid. The model is now bound.
The BLAST AUTO
MUST
be on a flat surface in order to digitally self level itself,
otherwise the model will not sync to the controller.
Failure to do so can damage the battery pack and shorten its useful life.
- Always remove the battery from the toy for charging.
- Unplug the battery from the toy if storing for more than 24 hours.
Your LiteHawk Drone is equipped with a barometric sensor which allows for
Altitude hold capability. The Drone will maintain your desired height while flying.
ALTITUDE HOLD:
You will notice the left stick is spring loaded. To gain or increase altitude
(height) push the stick up. To lower altitude (height) push down. Once you get to a desired
altitude release the stick and the drone will stay at that height.
The left control stick (throttle) is now spring loaded and rests in the center position. If you
want to climb just push up on the throttle stick and release when you reach your desired
height. To lower the drone’s height just push down on the throttle stick.
