Coupling
W
hen coupling your cars, at least one of the mating couplers must be open as shown at the left
in Figure 8. Simply press down on the lock release to open the coupler, then push the cars
toward each other until they lock together.
Refer to page 6 to uncouple and operate the cars using the uncoupling track section (included).
Keep in mind that it’s easier to couple cars on a straight stretch of track.

e sure that the bin is placed on the side of the track to which the car will empty. To unload
the car, simply position the plunger, centered on the underside of the car, directly above
the magnetic coil in the center of the Uncoupling Track Section and press UNCOUPLE on the
track section’s controller.

repare the car for its load by pressing down the cradle on top of the car until it locks in
the horizontal position. Pour the coal into the tray, and your car is ready for action. Refer
to Figure 9.
