Maintaining and servicing your set
Replacing the lamp in your caboose
T
he interior of your caboose is lighted by one lamp. During the course of normal opera-
tions, this lamp may require replacement. Replace the lamp with part
no. 600-8352-311, available from your authorized Lionel dealer.
1. Remove the chassis screw from the underside of the frame. Refer to Figure 14 on page 24
for the location of this screw.
2. Carefully disengage the ladders from the slots in the caboose roof.
Be sure to keep the ladder from scratching the roof.
3. Unsnap the caboose body end tabs from the slots in the frame, then lift away the body.
4. As illustrated in Figure 15, pull the lamp straight up and out of the socket and replace it
with the new lamp.
5. Reassemble the caboose, reversing this procedure.
