Chapter 5: Using the Web-Based Utility
The Phone’s built-in e-mail client lets you send and receive messages using your POP3 account.
E-mail Account List
You can create up to five different e-mail accounts. From the list, click
Configure
to set up a new
account. You can also remove or activate an existing e-mail account.
Account Setting
Enter an account name, your name, and the e-mail address for the new account.
POP3 Setting
Enter your POP3 settings including the incoming server address, port, user id, and password. You can
normally discover these settings from the specific e-mail program’s instructions.
SMTP Setting
Enter the outgoing server address, port, user id, and password.
Advanced Setting
Enter your reply address and signature information (optional). Click
Reserve Mail
to keep a copy of
your new mail on the remote POP3 server.
Click
Save Settings
to add this entry to your e-mail account list. Click
Cancel Settings
to cancel
information not already saved. Click the
tab to return to the main
screen.
