Step 4:
Do not unplug or restart your Velop system during a firmware upgrade. Wait until the light on
your node is solid blue, indicating that your Velop is ready.
How to add a wired child node to the Velop system using the Linksys app
Velop nodes can be connected with ethernet cables. Wiring nodes together can increase the
range and speed of your Velop system and reduce the risk of wireless interference.
You will still have to set up the additional nodes wirelessly using the Linksys app; once this is
done, connect the nodes using CAT5e or higher rated ethernet cables and the nodes should
automatically switch to a wired connection.
