NOTE:
During the call, the caller can use the "1" and "3" keys on the telephone to
switch from the automatic 2-way voice mode to manual control of the call direction
(in case a loud room noise near the Console is preventing hearing the caller). Press
"1" to talk, press "3" to listen. Press "8" to return to automatic 2-way voice mode.
During manual control, the Console will disconnect after 90 seconds if no keys are
pressed (warning beeps will sound 5 seconds prior to the disconnect).

• For U.S. installations only: The radios are re
q
uired to comply
with FCC Rules and Regulations as Part 15 devices. As such,
they have limited transmitter power and therefore limited range.
• A receiver cannot respond to more than one transmitted signal
at a time and may be blocked by radio signals that occur on or
near their operating fre
q
uencies, regardless of code settings.
• Changes or modifi cations to the device may void FCC compliance.
• Infre
q
uently used radio links should be tested regularly to
protect against undetected interference or fault.
• A general knowledge of radio and its vagaries should be
gained prior to acting as a wholesale distributor or dealer, and
these facts should be communicated to the ultimate users.
