• Take the water reservoir out of the steam generator.
• Place a new descaling cartridge as instructed by the below image.
• Should you have no descaling cartridges handy, you may temporarily use a
combination of 50% tap water and 50% distilled or purified water to fill the
device. Afterwards you can continue ironing for a little while until your descaling
cartridge arrives.
After you have replaced your descaling cartridge, it will take a little while before you
get steam out of your iron. This is normal and happens because your cartridge is still
completely dry and it takes a bit for all the water in the generator to pass through
entirely. We advise you to replace the descaling cartridge the night before you plan on
ironing, making sure it’s drenched.
