Introduction
Thank you for choosing the Linar Audio P107, Stereo Preamplifier.
Linar Audio products are the fruit of extensive research and development in the audio field. Linar Audio
Preamplifiers are designed to provide the world-class performance.
The structure of the P107 is made of a passive volume control at the front end followed by a gain section
without feedback. The volume control circuit uses mechanical relays with high precision low noise
resistors to preserve the integrity of the signal. Mechanical relays have zero ON resistance, infinite OFF
resistance, almost no capacitance and introduce no distortion. The variation of the volume level may
occasionally introduces very small “clicks” that are no danger for the loudspeakers. The voltage gain
section on the P107 is designed with J-FET transistors at the input and MOSFET transistors at the
output stage, without feedback. The circuitry is fully complementary and fully balanced from input to
output.
Aesthetically stunning and sonically spectacular, the Linar P107 is a perfect match for your high-end 2
channel sources.
As with many high-end audio products, your Linar Preamplifier will require a significant break-in period.
This process may take up to 200 hours of use.
