4.9 RT Bus termination (Figure 3 and Figure 4)
WARNING
Power supply must be turned off before performing this operation!
A bus termination resistance is provided inside the encoder enclosure and has to
be activated as line termination if the encoder is at the ends of the transmission
line (i.e. it is either the first or the last device in the transmission line).
Use RT Switch to activate or deactivate the bus termination.

Description
1 = 2 = ON
Activated: if the encoder is the first or the last
device in the transmission line
1 = 2 = OFF
Deactivated: if the encoder is not the first or the
last device in the transmission line
