PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE ASSEMBLING OR OPERATING AND KEEP THIS MANUAL FOR FUTURE USE & REFERENCE.

1 52 oz globe
Saddle included on socket to accommodate shades that use a harp and finial
1 40W bulb (for Lava® Lamp globe)
For California resident: 1 15W CFL bulb (for upper socket/table lamp)
Note: Lamp shade is NOT included with this lamp. The recommended 10” angled shade shown on the back of the lamp package is properly sized for use with this lamp.
SAFETY, CARE, AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS:
DO NOT REMOVE BOTTLE CAP FROM GLASS GLOBE.
Do not remove the cap on the globe or add anything to the globe. The air space at the top of the globe is necessary in order to allow for the expansion of contents.
Breaking the seal on the globe shall void the warranty.
Requires a 40W light bulb for Lava® Lamp (included) and 60W light bulb for upper socket table lamp (not included).
For California only, use CFL bulb (included) for upper socket table lamp. Do not exceed 15W to avoid fire or unsatisfactory operation.
Remove all excess packaging before assembling.
Ensure all parts are at room temperature before running. Unplug from outlets before putting on or taking off parts.
Check and see if the light bulb and socket in the Lava® Lamp base are centered and tightened prior to turning on the lamp. The light bulb and socket may have moved during shipping. If this has occurred, then gently
use your fingers to re-center them.
Only use provided 40W bulb for the Lava® Lamp bulb in base of lamp. Variances in size or wattage will produce unsatisfactory operation, fire, or possible breakage of the globe.
Purchase only the recommended bulb (60W or 15W CFL bulb for CA residents) for the upper socket table lamp. Variances in bulb size or wattage will produce unsatisfactory operation or
fire.
Align shade with socket. Screw in bulb to hold in place. Do not exceed specified wattage.

Do not run lamp for longer than 8 hours at a time.
Run the lamp on a clean and flat surface, away from heated surfaces and direct sunlight. Direct sunlight may cause colors to fade.
Allow the lamp to warm up for 3 to 4 hours to ensure it performs at its optimal level. Note: All Lava® Motion Lamps have a coil in the bottom of the globe. This is to accelerate the
heating process.
Exercise caution when handling the lamp while it is plugged in. The lamp will take 2 to 3 hours to cool after it has been turned off.
To disconnect, turn all controls to the off position, then remove plug from outlet.
Do not shake the lamp while the product is warm. Lamp will become cloudy and unable to repair.
Do not place the lamp near sources of heat or cold, such as a heater or air conditioner. The lamp operates best at 68º F / 21º C.
Handle product with care; the glass globe may break if subjected to any form of sudden impact. If it becomes necessary to clean up broken glass first unplug unit and then use care and
safety precautions. (Refer to Clean-Up Instructions below for details.)
Do not force polarized plug into an outlet. As safety precaution, one blade is wider and can only be inserted one way into the outlet.
Do not use any other means to heat up motion lamp besides bulb provided nor attempt to cool it down artificially.
Do not use the product if the globe, plug, or cord is damaged.
Do not operate the lamp on glass surfaces, where aerosol spray is being used, or where oxygen is being administered.
This product is intended for personal indoor household use only – DO NOT use outdoors.
Keep product out of reach of small children and pets. This item is NOT a toy.
Use this product only for its intended use as described in these instructions.
FIRST AID:
For ingestion: Seek medical attention.
For direct contact to eyes: Flush open eye with a direct stream of water for 15 minutes and then seek medical attention.
For direct skin contact: Clean the affected area thoroughly with soap and water. Remove and wash contaminated clothing immediately. If irritation occurs, then seek medical attention. Although our products are non-
hazardous, should you need specific material or health information, call 1-800-336-5282 during regular business hours and ask for Consumer Service. After business hours, contact Rocky Mountain Poison and Drug
Center at 303-739-1110 or visit their website at www.rmpdc.org or contact your local poison center.
CLEAN UP INSTRUCTIONS FOR ACCIDENTAL BREAKAGE:
If the globe breaks, it is not harmful if it is handled properly.
LIFESPAN BRANDS LLC IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE CAUSED BY PRODUCT BREAKAGE.
1. Wear rubber gloves during the clean-up process in order to protect skin irritation and to prevent cuts from broken glass.
2. Carefully pick up and dispose of broken glass and plastic pieces.
3. Use disposable towels to soak up excess liquid (you can use water to aid in clean up because the liquid is water soluble).
4. Thoroughly clean any products soiled by the liquid.
5. After the liquid has been cleaned up, a commercial cleaning detergent may be used to deep clean the area.
Prompt clean-up is key.
6. For carpet, blot up spilled material with an absorbent disposable cloth. Follow cleaning directions from your carpet manufacturer.
7. For floors, wipe up with disposable cloth and clean with normal floor cleaning detergent.
BULB REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
Before attempting to change the light bulb, please follow the below instructions carefully:
1. Turn off and unplug the lamp from the outlet.
2. Please wait at least one hour, then remove the glass globe from the base. Set aside in a safe location.
3. Please wait at least one hour for the bulb to cool down before replacing. Do not attempt to remove light bulb while hot.
4. Once light bulb is cool to the touch, carefully unscrew from base and discard safely.
5. Replace with the new light bulb by screwing into the base socket. Please see specifications below for correct bulb wattage.
6. Replace glass globe, plug into outlet, and turn your lamp on.

This unit is warranted by LIFESPAN BRANDS LLC against defects in workmanship or materials for 1 year from the date of purchase. The duration of any express or implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability or
fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to 1 year from the date of purchase. This warranty shall be void if the unit has been subject to abuse, negligent handling, and disregard of operating instructions or attempted repair by
anyone other than the manufacturer. LIFESPAN BRANDS LLC shall in no event be responsible for incidental or consequential damages of any nature or amount. NOTE: Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied
warranty lasts or do not allow the exclusion or limitation of consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you (as the purchaser) may also have
other rights which vary from state to state.
SERVICE AND REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Within the 1 year warranty period,
if for any reason your unit does not function properly, please
return it to you retailer where the purchase was made
.
The manufacturer is the only one that can make warranty replacements after 1
year.
DO NOT RETURN THE PRODUCT TO LIFESPAN BRANDS LLC UNLESS AUTHORIZED BY A COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE.
