appliances  plugged  into  that  circuit  or  outlet

). If unsure your circuit meets these requirements,

verify  with  a  certified  electrician

.  Risk  of  fire,  damage  to  property,  or  injury  may  result  if

requirements are not met.

Will the simulated fire get hot and/or burn if I leave it on all day/night?

NO

. The heater’s simulated flame effect is a beautiful effect that is based off reflected light from 2

light bulbs onto a burning log prop. The log prop may get warm, but will not melt, burn, or get
excessively hot if left on all night/day.

For your/your family’s safety

 Lifesmart advises all customers

not to place any items or body parts into the heater’s flame effect chamber and to keep kids and pets
away from opening the flame effect door.

For your/your family’s safety

, Lifesmart also

recommends that you unplug your heater when not in use, or when you are not in the heater’s
immediate vicinity.

Why doesn’t the fan speed increase when I change the heat setting from Low to High?

This is normal

. The heater’s fan’s speed is not affected by the High/Low settings. The fan is

designed to vent the heat at one soft, comfortable, and energy efficient speed.  What is affected by
the High setting is the heat output. In essence, in the High mode, the heater produces “more” heat,
rather than “faster” heat.

I want to make sure my warranty is registered. What do I send to make sure it is registered? Where
do I send it?

The heater comes with an automatic 1 year limited manufacturer’s warranty at the time of purchase.
Your receipt is considered your proof of purchase and registration. Keep it in a safe place.  As long
as it is legible, a copy may be used for any future warranty claims (if requested). If you have access
to e-mail, and would like peace of mind, e-mail us to:

[email protected]

In the

body of the e-mail, include your full name, address, phone number, model, serial number, and
scanned copy of your legible receipt.

You may also register in the “registration” tab at:

WARNING

It is normal for the power cord to feel warm to the touch; however, the power

cord prongs must be tight and secure to the wall outlet. A loose fit between the outlet and the
plug may cause excess heat or overheating of the plug or cord. If this occurs, try inserting
the plug into a different outlet. Contact a qualified electrician to inspect the original outlet
for damage or excessive wear.
