IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
• Staying well hydrated is extremely important. When you are dehydrated,
your body cannot properly cool itself, which can cause heat exhaustion. Heat
exhaustion can lead to heatstroke if left untreated, which can be fatal.
• If you experience any of the following symptoms: confusion, loss of
consciousness, vomiting, dizziness, headache, nausea, fainting, muscle
cramping, elevated heart rate, or rapid breathing, get out of the sauna
blanket immediately and seek medical attention.
• Drink plenty of fluids before, during, and after use to avoid dehydration.
• Do NOT drink alcoholic beverages before using the device as alcohol can
cause dehydration.
• Do NOT operate the device while sleeping, driving, smoking, or intoxicated.
• Never leave the device unattended while it is plugged in or running.
• Do NOT place the controller on top of the BioRemedy during use. Always
place the controller on a heat-resistance surface, such as the floor or a table,
next to you.
• Keep the BioRemedy and power cables away from heat sources and fire.
Excessive heat can potentially cause fire, electrocution, or injury to people or
property.
• The sauna blanket is not waterproof. Keep away from liquids. Do not immerse
in water. Keep the inside of the blanket clean and dry.
• Never use the device or plug/unplug the power cable with wet hands.
• Turn off and unplug the device after each use.
• The blanket is extremely hot after use. Allow it to completely cool before
cleaning, folding, or storing. Failure to completely cool the device before
folding can damage the blanket.
• Do not wrap the power cables tightly around the blanket or controller.
• Inspect the device, controller, and power cables before each use. Do not use
if damaged, malfunctioning, frayed or worn, or if the device has been exposed
to water.
TIPS FOR USE
• Drink plenty of fluids before and after use. During the treatment session,
make sure to have water handy.
• Use the BioRemedy on a flat, sturdy heat-resistant surface such as a bed,
floor, or couch.
• Do not use the BioRemedy on a surface that is not heat-resistant. Do not use
on waterbeds, latex, plastic, memory foam, adjustable bed frames, bunk beds,
or in a child's bed or crib, or on synthetic or flammable materials.
• Do not use the BioRemedy directly on leather surfaces. Completely cover any
leather surfaces with a towel or blanket before placing the blanket on top.
• Wear clean, loose-fitting, breathable clothing and socks (cotton is
recommended) that you don’t mind getting sweaty. Do not wear shoes or
metal jewelry or accessories.
• Wrap a towel around your shoulders to keep the heat inside the BioRemedy
blanket and to absorb sweat, if desired. Use a second towel as a pillow for
added comfort while using the BioRemedy, if desired.
• Optionally, you may wrap yourself in a disposable thermal detox wrap before
entering the BioRemedy to increase sweating, furthering detoxification and
fat loss.
• It will take about 5 minutes for the BioRemedy to warm up and 10–15
minutes to reach full temperature.
• We recommend that first-time users begin with 15–20 minute-minute
treatment sessions, 1–2 times per week, and work up to 35–40-minute
treatment sessions, 3–5 times per week.
• Do not use the BioRemedy for more than 60 minutes in 24-hours.
• If you feel discomfort or too hot, decrease the treatment temperature or
decrease the session time.
• It is normal for your body to feel warm after your treatment session.
• People with sensitive skin or skin conditions that can be exacerbated by heat,
such as eczema and rosacea, may want to use the BioRemedy at the lowest
heat setting, for short durations.
• You may wish to use a facial mask or moisturizer while using the sauna
blanket as your pores will be open and can soak up the beneficial ingredients.
