Operation

During the night position your watch face down on a flat surface near a window. The
signal will be updated at 3am. You can test this by pressing the S1 (2 o'clock) button
three times for a reception status. If your watch is unable to make contact with the
radio signal, it will continue to function in the same way as a standard watch. The
time will then be corrected the next time your watch receives the time signal.

Receiving the time signal

You can set your watch to receive either UK, Germany, USA or Japan (60 KHz) signals.
When you select a new country the watch will adjust to the local time. The second
hand will run fast during the adjustment and then return to normal.

Country signal selection

1. Press S2 (4 o'clock) for about three seconds while the watch is in normal time mode

until the watch speaks “Set alarm, press 2 o’clock button to set”.

2.  Press  S2  (4  o'clock)  another  three  times,  until  the  watch  speaks  “Global  signal

3. Press S1 (2 o'clock).
4. After pressing S1, it says “Press 2 o’clock button to set, 4 o’clock button to confirm”.
5. Press S1 (2 o'clock) to select UK, Germany, Japan (60 KHz only) or USA. (If you set to

USA, you need to choose the correct time zone from Pacific, Mountain, Central or
Eastern).

6. Press S2 (4 o'clock) to confirm after a new country has been selected.
7. After confirmation, the watch will set to the local time of the country that you have

selected. Wait until the hands stop running and resume to normal.

8. Now your watch will show the local time of the country that you have selected.

(It will adjust for summer and winter time).

9. The watch will receive the local radio signal automatically overnight.

Selecting the signal for UK, Germany, USA or Japan (60 KHz only)

The watch must be set to the right country before it can receive an accurate signal

(see above).
Position the watch face down on a flat surface near a window.
While the watch is in normal time mode:
1. Press S1 (2 o'clock) until the second hand stops.
2. The watch takes about 5 to 14 minutes to pick up the signal. Wait until the watch

has finished the signal receiving procedure.

3. After the signal reception, wait until the hands stop running and resume to normal.
4. Push S1 (2 o'clock) three times. If the reception was successful, the watch will speak

the country name followed by “Time updated”. If the reception failed, the watch
will speak the country name followed by “Time not updated”.
