Make sure the batteries have been recently

External sensor.
Change the angle of the external sensor or place
higher on the wall. Certain large rooms or rooms
w/many items that can block the sensors could
require the purchase of an additional IRD-10.
Battery tip information.
The number one cause of battery failure is
overcharging the battery. Never leave a battery
charging over extended breaks (spring break,
Christmas vacation, etc.). Overcharging the battery
will cause battery life expectancy per day to be
less and the battery will not last as long (meaning
throughout the year).
