HOW TO USE
• Place the machine on a flat surface.
• Open the kettle by pressing the lock button
on the lid.
• Remove the kettle from the base before filling.
• Then fill in the water (max. 1.2L).
• Close the lid until it audibly locks into place. Place
the kettle back on the base unit. Plug the device to
a properly installed safety socket.
• Switch the kettle on by pressing the On/Off
button. The indicator light will switch on, indicating
that heating has begun.
• The kettle will automatically switch off when the
water has been boiled. The indicator light switches
off.
• Lift the kettle from the base, and pour out the
water.
• You may stop boiling any time, by turning the
switch off.
CLEANING AND CARE
• To prolong product's life, clean and decalcify the
kettle regularly.
• The frequency of the decalcifying operation
depends on the hardness of the water and on how
often the appliance is used.
WARNING:
- Always tum the device off before cleaning it and
remove the mains plug. Wait until the device has
cooled down.
- Never immerse the device or the base in water or
other liquids.
• Do not use any wire brush or other abrasive
objects that can scratch or damage the housing.
• Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents to
clean the appliance.
• Rinse the water container out with clean water.
Then dry it off with a cloth.
• Clean the housing after use with a slightly damp
cloth and polish with a dry soft cloth.
• Use white vinegar or a commercially available
decalcification agent on the basis of citric acid to
decalcify the kettle.
• After descaling the device boil fresh water in it
several times (approximately 3-4 times) in order to
remove any residues. Do not consume that water.
