Set Roam Mode
Your phone allows you to control your roaming capabilities. By using the Roaming menu option,
you can determine which signals your phone accepts.
Choose from two different settings on your dual-band phone to control your roaming experience.

2. Touch an option.
Automatic
to seek service on the Nationwide Sprint Network. When Sprint service is
unavailable, the phone searches for an alternate system.
Sprint Only
to access only the Nationwide Sprint Network and prevent roaming on
other networks.
Call Guard
Your phone has two ways of alerting you when you are roaming off the Nationwide Sprint
Network: the on-screen roaming icon and Call Guard. Call Guard makes it easy to manage your
roaming by requiring an extra step before you can place or answer a roaming call. This
additional step is not required when you make or receive calls while on the Nationwide Sprint
Network.
To turn Call Guard on or off:

2. Toggle the
Domestic Voice
and
International Voice
buttons between
ON
or
OFF

Note:
Call Guard is turned on by default on your phone.
Voice dialing and speed dialing are not available when you are roaming with Call Guard
enabled.
To place roaming calls with Call Guard on:
1. Press
, dial 1 + area code + the seven-digit number and touch

Yes
.
To answer incoming roaming calls with Call Guard on:
1. Touch
Talk
. A message will be displayed notifying you that roaming charges will
apply.
