The proxy settings apply only to the Wi­Fi 

network you modified. To change the proxy 

settings for other Wi­Fi networks, modify 

them individually.

Set Wi-Fi notifications, disconnect 

policy, & other advanced options

To work with advanced Wi­Fi settings:

1.  Turn on Wi­Fi, if it’s not already on.

2.  In the Wi­Fi settings screen, touch 

 

Menu > Advanced.

These are the settings you can adjust:

•  Network  notification. By default, when 

Wi-Fi  is  on,  you  receive  notifications  in 

the Status bar when your phone detects 

an open Wi­Fi network. Uncheck this op­

tion to turn off notifications.

•  Keep Wi-Fi during sleep. To conserve mo­

bile data usage, your phone stays con­

nected to Wi­Fi when the screen goes to 

sleep. Touch this option to change this
