Sound Effect
You can select a suitable sound mode. Press SOUND
EFFECT repeatedly until the desired mode appears
on the front panel display or the TV screen. The
displayed items for the equalizer maybe different
depending on sound sources and region.
[Natural]:
You can enjoy comfortable and natural
sound.
[Local EQ]:
Regionally optimized sound effect.
(DANGDUT/ ARABIC/ PERSIAN/ INDIA/ REGUETON/
MERENGUE/ SAMBA/ SALSA/ CUMBIA/ AFRO)
[Bypass]:
Software with multichannel surround
audio signals is played according to the way it was
recorded.
[Bass Blast]:
Reinforce the bass sound effect from
front left and right speaker and subwoofer.
[PL ll Movie]:
Performs Pro Logic ll movie mode
decoding to the input signal and produces five
full-bandwidth output channels from 2 channel
sources. This setting is ideal for watching videos of
overdubbed or old movies. This mode is available
only to 2 channel sources.
[PL ll Music]:
Performs Pro Logic ll music mode
decoding to the input signal and produces five
full-bandwidth output channels from 2 channel
sources. This setting is ideal for normal stereo
sources such as CD. This mode is available only to 2
channel sources.
[Clear Voice]:
This mode makes voice sound clear,
improving the quality of voice sound.
[Virtual]:
You can enjoy more dynamic sound.
[Game]:
You can enjoy more virtual sound while
playing video games.
[Night]:
This may be useful when you want to
watch movies at low volumes late at night.
[Up Scaler]:
When listening to MP3 files or other
compressed music, you can enhance the sound.
This mode is available only to 2 channel sources.
[Loudness]:
Improves bass and treble sound.
[User EQ]:
You can adjust the sound by raising or
lowering the level of specific frequency.
Setting the [User EQ]
1. Use
W/S
to select the desired frequency.
2. Use
A/D
to select the desired level.
Select [Cancel] option then press ENTER (

) to
cancel the setting.
Select [Reset] option then press ENTER (

) to reset
the all adjustments.
[Natural Plus]:
You can enjoy the natural sound
effect same as 4.1 channel.
Using the Sleep Timer
You can set the unit to turn off at a preset time.
Press SLEEP once. The display window will be
darkened by half and the light on bottom of front
left and right speakers turn off.
Each time you press SLEEP, the minutes display
changes.
Press SLEEP repeatedly to cancel the sleep timer or
turn on again the light on bottom of the front left
and right speakers.
