Using your phone as a

modem

Your GT500 can work as a modem

for your PC, giving you email and

internet access even when you can’t

connect using wires. You can use

either the USB cable or Bluetooth.

Note

: additional charges may

occur when accessing wireless data
service.

Using the USB cable:

Ensure you have the LG PC Suite
installed on your PC.
Connect your GT500 and your PC
using the USB cable and launch
the LG PC Suite software.
Click

Communication

on your

PC. Then click

Settings

and select

Modem

Choose

LG Mobile USB Modem

and select

. It will now appear

on screen.
Click

Connect

and your PC will

connect through your GT500.

Using Bluetooth:

Ensure Bluetooth is switched

and

Visible

for both your PC and

GT500.
Pair your PC and GT500 so
that a passcode is required for
connection.
Use the

Connection

wizard

your LG PC Suite to create an
active Bluetooth connection.
Click

Communication

on your

PC. Then click

Setting

Modem

Choose

Standard Modem over

Bluetooth link

and click

will now appear on screen.
