Software Installation for device driver

The drive includes device driver software that tells the drive how to operate from
your PC.
Install the device driver using the supplied diskette “GCC-5240 Support Software” in
your PC.
Refer to the manual.

Inserting and Removing the PC Card

The attached PC card supports the plug and play function of Windows, and can be
removed and inserted by performing the following operation.

1. Stop the application software currently used.

2. Click the icon “Card” of the taskbar located on your screen’s bottom right side.

3. Click “DuoATA Card”.

4. Click “Ok” and remove the PC card.

Don’t remove the PC card when the Power busy indicator on the drive blinks,
or during computer startup.
