Displaying Disc Information
on-screen
RETURN ( ) Press to move backwards in the menu or exit the menu.
EQ EQ Sets the sound effect. (See page 16)
MUTE MUTE Disables or enables sound output. DVD Display shows “noout”.
Volume Volume
You can adjust the volume level of amplified speaker output.
Press VOLUME (+/-) to adjust the volume.
General features
Insert a disc.
Select the appropriate video input mode on the TV.
Connect the video cable securely.
Select the correct input mode of the audio amplifier.
Set the AUDIO settings to the correct position.
Insert a playable disc. (Check the disc type and regional code.)
Change the rating level.
Check the antenna connection and adjust its position.
Attach an external aerial if necessary.
Correction
The power cord is disconnected.
No disc is inserted.
The TV is not set to receive the signal from the unit.
The video cable is not connected securely.
The equipment connected with the audio cable is not set
to receive the signal from the unit.
The AUDIO options are set to the wrong position.
An unplayable disc is inserted.
The rating level is set.
The remote control is not pointed at the remote sensor on the unit.
The remote control is too far from the unit.
No power.
The power is on, but the
unit does not work.
No picture.
No sound.
The unit does not
start playback.
The remote control does
not work Properly.
Plug the power cord into the wall outlet securely.
Radio stations can’t be
tuned in properly (FM radio
function is optional.)
The antenna is positioned or connected poorly.
The signal strength of the radio station is too weak.
No stations have been preset or preset stations have
been cleared (when tuning by scanning preset channels.)
Point the remote control at the remote sensor of the unit.
Operate the remote control closer to the unit.
Tune to the station manually. Preset some radio stations, see page 18 for details.
Note : EQ and Volume are effective only with amplified output through direct speaker connection

You can select the function like CD / USB / FM radio from this key.
