1. Inserting the SIM Card
1. With the back of the phone, press the latch up and hold
it. Slide the battery and lift it away as shown.
2. Slide the SIM card into the slot, under the silvery
holders, with the golden connectors facing downward.

Remove the SIM card
Slide the SIM card out of the slot,
as shown, toward the top of the phone.

SIM Card
When you register as a subscriber with a network operator, you can get a SIM
(Subscriber Identity Module) card. The SIM card contains a computer chip that
keeps track of your phone number, the services included in your subscription
and your phone book information among other things.
3. Place the battery on the back; Position the lugs match
the tabs on the battery with the grooves on the phone.
Then slightly slide the battery up until the latch clicks.

Caution
• Removing the battery from the phone whilst it is switched on may cause it to
malfunction.
• The metal contact of the SIM card can be easily damaged by scratches.
Pay special attention to the SIM card when you handle and install.
Follow the instructions supplied with the SIM card.
• The SIM card must be treated with the same care as a bank card.
• If your phone and/or SIM card are lost or stolen, call the service provider
immediately to prevent misuse.
