Applications
The KP199 is designed to support
Java applications. There are two
default Java games in the phone,
and you are allowed to download
and install more Java games or
applications.
Before playing a Java game,
you must install a MIDlet suite to
execute Java games. Your handset
provider has integrated the Java
MIDlet as default in the KP199 and
offers two methods of installation:
installing a MIDlet via WAP and
installing a MIDlet locally on a
device via HTTP.
After installing a MIDlet, you can
start to play the two build-in java
games. Or you can also go to a
WAP site (see WAP on page 24) to
download more Java games and
save the downloaded Java files
to My stuff by a USB cable. The
saving progress is same as adding
music tracks to your phone. (See To
add music tracks to your phone on
page 47).
