ADJUSTMENT INSTRUCTIONS
9. Screen Position Adjustment
9-1. Required Test Equipment
Service Remote Control
9-2. Horizontal Position Adjustment
(1) Press ADJ key on the remote control to enter the
adjustment mode.
(2) Select POSITION in the adjustment menu.
(3) The adjustment pattern below appears.
(4) Select the H_position with CHANNEL key.
(5) Change data by using the VOLUME keys on the remote
control in order to adjust left/right screen semmetry.
(6) If symptom is out of adjustable range: Check the light
engine adjustment
9-3. Vertical Position Adjustment
(1) Select V_position with CHANNEL key. (Initial V: 15)
(2) Change data with using the VOLUME keys on the remote
control in order to adjust up/down screen semmetry.
(3) If symptom is out of adjustable range: N.G.

After adjustment is completed, recieve a NTSC-M Digital
Pattern and check the adjusment level.
10. Component AD9883A Offset/
Gain Adjustment
10-1. Required Test Equipment
Service Remote Control, 801GF/802F Pattern Generator
10-2. Preparation for Adjustment
(1) Connect power and turn TV set on.
(2) Perform Heat-Run for at least 5 minutes.
(3) Select Component Input.
(4) Receive a 720P/60Hz, HozTVBar Pattern.
