1. POWER BUTTON (or ON/OFF)

Refer to "Turning on/off the TV".

2.  SLEEP BUTTON

To set the desired sleep time.

3.  A. PRGO (Auto program) BUTTON  (some models)

To memorize channels by AUTO PROGRAM.

4. APC (Auto Picture Control) BUTTON

To adjust the factory preset pictures
corresponding to the lighting around.

5. NUMBER BUTTONS (some models)

To select the desired channel directly.

6. MUTE BUTTON

To mute the sound. Again to restore the
muted sound.

• To select the desired channel.
• To select the desired menu item when    

menu is displayed on the screen.

VOLUME UP/DOWN (

• To increase or decrease volume level.

8. MENU BUTTON

To display on screen menus.

9.  AIR CONDITIONER BUTTONS

ON/OFF

operation will start when this button is pressed,and

stop when the button is pressed again.
WIND UP/DOWN
the Top Vane swings up and down.
WIND L/R
the Side Vane swings left and right.
FAN SPEED

sets the Fan Speed.Each time the Fan Speed

Button is pressed (or fan speed key is
touched), the Fan Speed mode is shifted in
the arrow direction.

(Temperature Up/Down)

To raise the temperature.
To lower the temperature.

Note :Air conditioner buttons can only control 

LG air-condition(except for special models).

10. TV/VIDEO BUTTON

To select TV, VIDEO or COMPONENT mode.

11.MEMORY/ERASE BUTTON (some models)

To memorize or erase the desired channel.

12.CAPTION BUTTON (some models)

To select the CAPTION mode.

13.FCR (Favorite Channel Review) BUTTON

To select the favorite channel.
Refer to "Favorite channel memory".

Fitting Batteries in the Remote Control Unit
• Open the battery compartment cover on the back

side and insert the batteries with correct polarity.

• Apply 1.5V batteries of AAA type. Don’t mix the

used batteries with new batteries.
