High voltage current runs in the parts and cables in the
engine compartment. Do not touch high voltage parts,
cables and connectors. See “High voltage components”
on page 8 for details.
CAUTION
Never touch, disassemble, remove or replace the high
voltage parts, cables and their connectors. It can cause
severe burns or electric shock that may result in death
or serious injury.
Removing the engine compartment covers
Before jump starting, checking the fuse or replacing the
front light bulbs, etc. in the engine compartment, remove
the engine compartment covers as follows:
Removing the clip
1. Push the core of the clips and remove the clips.
2. Remove the cover.
Be careful not to lose the removed plastic clips.
